You were very wrong as Guy Fawkes himself was a Catholic trying to assasinate a Protestant King and Parliment, as at the time Catholics were being persecuted and could not practise thier religion in the open.
Nothing changes really just the names and faces.

I did read somewhere recently that the gunpowder that Fawkes was attempting to use was actually cut and therefore very weak and would never have done more than just shake the building... _________________

The plot was recreated on telly a while ago and although the gunpowder was not up to todays standards, there was enough used to more than compensate _________________

Just got back from the hospital and apparently they cant be sure that i havnt broken it so i have to go back and see a consultant on friday.
AAAAAnd apparently a compression bandage is no longer classed as the way to go as it restricts the blood vessels and does not aid healing
But rest, elevation and ice are all still good so ow its called eir |

History:
Some years ago i fractured my ankle and ddnt realise and carried on thinking it was a bad sprain.......a few years later for one reason or another i required an x ray which showed the calcificationof the old fracture.
Apparenty i now have a fragment of bone showing signs of cacfication on a fracture ....they cant be sure if this is from the recent injury or a remnant from a past one ..Hospitals are now very reluctant to cal a break a break unless it requires surgery to repair they now call most things a fracture when it requires no more than a cast. (allegedly)
so now i have to see a consultant on friday who by some miracle wil be able to identify whether the fragment is a new injury
when i doen this on sunday i tried to walk it off thinking i had sprained it
who knows eh i could be the constructor of my own doom eh? |
