Discovering this weekend that a knackered head gasket is definitely the cause of my overheating / oil consumption woes...... Crying or Very sad

But which one?

......issa V4 innit.... Crying or Very sad

Perhaps I'll just do 'em both - while I've got it all in bits.

dropping the bike off today, and seeing what they say!!...

there is a distinctive smell to the bike now, and the liquid coming out is a green colour, slightly oily...

is this still coolant?

Coolant is quite slippery stuff and usually leaves white marks down the side of your bike when it dries. Chances are, its just a loose hose or similar.

Its not difficult to change yourself, problem is actually getting one in the first place though.

Rather unlucky getting a hole in a rad, perhaps you should stick a fender extender on.

Everybodys forgoten how to drive today!

in the 20 miles or so coming from the box to home, i had 4 cars pull out in front of me, 2 pedestrians wonder into the road infront of me, one van push itself into my lane forcing me to change left much to the displeasure of a cage behind me, another van try to squeeze past me while i was letting someone cross at an island, and a boy racer decide hes gonna try and pester me and force me into a race with his chavmobile

i just wanted to come home from getting a burger Sad
