Looks like I have yanked the throttle too much on the Bandit, think the cables gone. So left bike and hoofed it to a train, an hour to go 5 miles by train, no wonder this country grinds to a halt.

In August we stayed at a Premier Apartment in Nottingham (apartments that are bookable like a hotel by the night and are approximately equivalent to a 4* hotel in standard). Our kettle didn't work and it seemed to be beyond them to provide us with one that did, which seemed a bit ridiculous as it is not rocket science to pop down to Argos or something and buy one. I wrote and complained and after a bit of chasing got a reply offering us a free night "subject to availability. We decided we would go to Nottingham for NYE again, checked the web site and found they had availability so I phoned up the number I needed to phone to book my free night only to be told that I couldn't book that night because that was one of the busiest times of the year for them. I don't think I will be using them again as they obviously have complete disregard for customer service.

spent ages cleaning my bike yesterday it looked great but it was crap weather today so looks a bit crap again!
