Thanks to all the lovely peeps who picked it up (nice man I didn't know, and a couple of other people who were sitting nearby) and checked it over, fed me tea and took the piss generally (V, slow, Southernspeed, & Barry H) and gave me the confidence to get back on it to ride home. Fortunately only things damaged were my pride and clutch lever.
Lesson learned - stop earlier and give coaches an even wider berth... now will someone teach me how to pick up 3 times my body weight off the pavement please?!! |
Good excuse to get them Trak Tech ones. Glad you and the bike are OK |

It could have been worse it could have been a packed Sunday afternoon
Take it from somebody who has been there and done that many many times keep a spare clutch and break lever under the seat
Glad you are ok _________________

Some waste of space stealing my nephews scooter after my sister has just bought a new exhaust and variator kit for it, only to carry it for 1/2 a mile before realizing they can't get the lock off or start it so they torched it and left it to burn... wankers _________________ "It's not the years in your life but the life in your years..."

I've got a scotoiler on the little Bandit. Got to say that i'm not a great fan. I find it very hit and miss whether it wants to work or not. And in the cold you can forget it.
Spoke to the dealer about them and he said you either get one which works very very well, or one that works very very badly. With nothing inbetween. Looks like i got the latter
...........is the way forward |

Had a Spitoiker on my ZX9 and it did exactly that - spat oil everywhere.

Got a scotoiler on my current Bandit. This one seems to flow rather quick even on its lowest setting resulting in my rear wheel getting splattered.
Not sure whether I will keep it on |

The metallic whispy noise coming from the front wheel on the bike.
don't think the garage properly aligned the front wheel when they put the new tyre on. _________________ -------------------------------- |

Hmm, scottoilers...had one on my first bike and I also got one of the fussy ones so haven't bothered with them since, its just extra stuff on the bike to avoid a 10 second job every now and again. _________________
