I didn't realise until I started doing wildlife volunteer work how similar the mannerisms are between infant mammals, be they human, mouse, fox or squirrel:
- the way babies fall asleep as soon as they've been fed
- the way babies can sleep nearly anywhere & in any position, as long as they're warm and full
- the way they suckle thin air in their sleep
- the way they suck their hands/paws/sibling's tails when hungry
- the way they hate being toileted and squeak & squirm in protest
- the way they're completely trusting of almost anyone

I find it endlessly fascinating and charming, and consider myself privileged to have such close contact with wildlife. My Saturday night shifts always bring a smile to my face, no matter how challenging or depressing my week has been.
