My grumble today, although slightly insignificant, is that my shower has given up the ghost, rather typically decided to do it while I had soap running into my eyes, whoops. Never mind, job for aprés xmas me thinks... on the plus side, the shower unit I believe has a 2 yr warranty... assuming I can find the reciept that is Laughing

Phone call late last night, didn't sleep very much as a result, journey to Gatwick this morning to meet the flight from the Ukraine.

New passport in inside pocket, on piccadilli line at the moment for heathrow where suitcase was checked in this morning with sa passport.

oh and slappy, just had a panicked call from my mother saying "just saw a comment on FB about your passport ... It' not true is it ??"

Just sat down to pork chops, peas, broccoli, gravy and apple sauce. Found what I thought was a piece of stalk of the broccoli, was half a caterpillar. Did I eat the other half ? Sick (Veg was frozen).

Spending the whole day in East Surrey hospital with Boudicas who has been ill all week and had to have IV drip with antibiotics and pain meds an xray and an ultrasound scan today. He has been kept in overnight as they are still running tests on him. Really hope he wont spend Christmas Day in there.
