Friday 14th Oct, .. Filtering back onto the A11 (Mile End) with a Double Rush for the Isle of Dogs, .. jinking out at the rear of a rather large Skania, ... only to find it had a 'Fork Lift Truck' attached to the back. Woops, .. fortunately,.. my inner riding ability saved me, ... it must have been a little bit like 'The Force',.. because i sure as sh1t had my eyes closed, .... nasty scrape on the Arai though.

Nearly not making it to Box Hill this morning pissed me off. Nearly having to tell my boy's mum that he'd been hurt and nearly having to claim off some fuckwits insurance to get my bike fixed really pissed me off.

All that said it was actually no big deal. Coulda been though if ya know what I mean.

Following large white van. Van turned into side road. Car in side road thought "ah, that van is coming in here, I can pull out" Right in front of me! Luckily at the speed we were doing I managed to just about stop before I hit him. Not sure if it was the collision or the stoppie that had us off TBH. We both landed on our feet and no damage to the bike or his car (shame that!) Crash bungs, what a marvelous invention Very Happy

Not pissed off, more..........mildly miffed. Looking at craigs RVF yesterday and nowt to do this eventime I decided to whip the old zorsts of the steed and give'em a clean. Bah, git pah and shit. The O so high quality of the studs couldn't take being undone without shearing off. Nuts!

I will infuture just let them rust in peace. Now I've got to remove the other four studs which will prob go the same way as the first, even after the liberal soaking of easing oil, and drill out re tap and find four studs, which you just know will be some oddball size, and refit the bloody thing completely............craig, may the flies of a thousand rides infest your fairings. Damn you and your clean machine.
