yep my thoughts as well. A true friend will tell you to your face if they are unhappy about something, not go and gossip to all and sundry

Confront them about it, and see what they have to say for themselves.. if they dont apologise then leave it them to it, as friends like that are not worth it Evil or Very Mad

Hey I like the 'live fast, die yound and be burried attractive etc line' whoever that is! Cool

I agree on the cabbies, most I come across either as a driving sales rep (I look out for bikes though of course!!!) or when I am on my bike, seem tossers, London buses even worse!! I got off my bike a few months back and asked the driver of a red bus in Streatham to get out as he clearly tried to take me off the wan**r. Some guy on the bus came out to calm thinsg down as I was understandably seriously p*ssed off (a biker), said he saw it and was going to report the bus driver through disgust. The driver apologised big time and said he thought I was trying to intimidate him by revving my engine, yeah right...! Left it at that after sharing my emotional thoughts.....cough, cough. I am normally pretty chilled but being purposely cut up at 20mph and missing my bike by about an inch max thanks to braking, my mood understandably switched. Mad

As for the books, I am looking forward to buying the Ewan jobby but not keen to pay £20 when I just know that in a few months it will probably be going for half that or less. I am impulsive though so who knows. Would make a nice Christmas read when my folks and sisters can look after the daughter a bit to give me and the missus some peace.... Rolling Eyes

I agree on the traffic am and someone dying stuff too. Its mad and disrespectful. If it was my family member who died and the focus was the traffic jam on the news and not my family death, I would probably pay the radio station a visit to make my feelings known and pop an article in the local. If it was a woman, she would write a song and release it guys, don't you reckon......?! Joke girls Laughing

Don't think it's battery (was flat, now showing a healthy 12.8v), don't think it's reg/rec (doesn't exceed 14v when revving, battery un-toasted), it's not plugs (had them out earlier, all clean, quite new, mixtures right).

Think it might be something to do with the ignition - it's definately electrical as the bike runs perfectly and then fails to start without reason - no bogging, no stuttering, no mis-fires, nothing. (The starter motor turns the engine over as normal, it feels like it's just not sparking).
