had the bulb in my rev counter replaced today, Wildman did it for me, had to remove the fairing to get at it, did the oil change aswell, bike is a hell of a lot quieter now and tappets not so noisey.
That pissed you off, you're thinking?
No, that pleased the hell out of me, this is what pissed me off!!!!!
Not being able to get the bike into gear without jumping on the gear lever, seems very sluggish and the biting point is so close to the handlebar it's almost non existent 
Got to try and limp it round to Steve in the morning to see what he can do, all that brand new oil

It's eaten yet another clutch thrust bearing! That's 3 in 13000 miles!

After reading some other bad news, this is irrelevant, however, going to hire a van this morning; deciding not to buy down the excess from £ 500 to £ 100 for £30 and then smacking the side in on another van on the way out of the forecourt 
No idea what it will cost me, but a damn sight more than £ 30! |
