Checking into a good hotel after a 15 hour workday & knowing I'll be able to have a decent meal and a quiet, comfortable room with all the amenities.

Our storeman at work, turns up for his first day at work since christmas. He got drunk after his deparmental christmas dinner, went to bed and woke up saying his shoulder hurt. He had got so drunk, couldn't remember breaking his shoulder and didn't feel the pain til he woke up the next day. On the downside, because he told the truth, they won't pay him any more sick pay. If he had said he fell down the stairs at home (while sober), they probably would have paid him more sick pay. Lucky he still lives at home with his parents !

Went out for a pootle, saw some nice bloke in a van waving madly so slowed down and passed the Tax Collectors at 29mph. Very satisfying!

Had my bike seat lowered Smile

Didn't enjoy the couple of slippy-slides on the way home though, or the crap from the roads that seemed to completely coat my visor and make it impossible to see.

Arranging to take my 350 to Herne Bay on Saturday to get a quote for getting it reprayed. Looks like the weather is going to be good for a run on the bike too.

Turning my LC Club calendar over to February and a) it being the picture of my 125 and b) knowing it is my birthday on 28 Feb Very Happy

Popped into Debenhams for a couple of bits and saw a mirror that I liked, reduced from £130 to £39!!! ...then I got another 10% off for taking out a store card AND a further 10% for using said store card to pay for purchases!!

Very Happy

play them at their own game. Take the discounts and the interest free credit period and pay it off before they charge you interest. Thats what I do with my tesco credit card and the clubcard points pay for my RAC membership every year.
