Finally finished a court case that's been going on since Oct 05 over stuff that's been going on for more than two years. Final outcome not totally wonderful but I ended up with a small cheque - still end up out of pocket but not by much. The other side however have all their own solicitors' and barristers costs to cover, I reckon that's about £20k at a guess. So while I didn't win, they sure as hell lost, and I can wear a small, satisfied smile.

And now I can put it all into a large cardboard box and put it away and get on with my life. Feels like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

Word of advice though - if ever you have cause to end up in court for civil matters (criminal's probably similar) then do your darndest to avoid it. The law is an ass and has long pointy ears and brays. Court system? Pah, piece of dog poo.
