Yeah - I've seen a couple this week - one on a pushie who nearly got mashed big-time
I totally disagree with lunchtime drinkies if anyone cares - very '80s for a start..... _________________ If the phone doesn’t ring, it’s me... |

I agree! Lunchtime drinkies is only worthwhile if you are going to carry on all afternoon
(and then have someone else get you home safely) |

Listening to the BBC world service today, they had a Christmas special with British troops serving in the present war zone sending greetings to their respective families in the UK. It was a great programme.
However, this thought then popped into my head. These men and women are serving overseas in these various areas not knowing if they will be seeing their loved ones agian and there's the UK government allowing 3 non UK citizens to return to the UK after being involved in fighting UK and USA troops. Further more, could they possibly be a security risk to the UK now or in the future.
Something wrong some where ! |

Having to come into the office. Roads were filthy as well, although on the plus side, not much traffic. _________________ Its better to regret something you did rather than something you didnt do... |

...and my gripe is even more pathetic...
it's just after 1:30 in the morning and I don't feel tired at all ...but I have to catch a bus at 10 to 10 in the morning so I am going to have to try to get to sleep before too long
and I'm watching a repeat of 'the long way down' ...so I'm wishing that I could get on my bike instead of a bus in the morning
and I'm still a bit miffed that no-one called me back today (as specifically promised) about a job that I interviewed for on the 17th. ...got told on 24th that I'm in the top 3 for 2 vacancies, which raised my hopes a little and I just can't help feeling that it is just a little bit rude not to call me back on the day they promised... ...maybe they have a good reason? ...perhaps she has fallen ill or had her phone stolen or something?? ...oh well. I've left messages. Nothing more I can do. |

In my experience people like that are rarely worth working for
Look at it as a lucky escape |

Va va. Be honest with yourself. If you have a REALLY good feeling about the people you have interviewed with - you will get the job.
If there is doubt at all, you may still get it - but you won't stay. _________________ If the phone doesn’t ring, it’s me... |

Being asked to setup a new LCD tv for someone, only to find out that it wasn't working properly, wasted a few hours when I could have been out on the bike ! _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |

...the missus comprehensively scraping the side of the car against some carpark Armco.
I reckon the damage will cost more to repair than the car is worth..... |
