Damn right he is. Someone always gets there first.
At the minute keeping hold of the flippin Zed is proving the priority rather than splashing out on cans.
Had to fork out bout £150 for an alarm today as my insurance company decided to go tits up. The new company refused to insure me for about 6 hours until I had a hissy fit. 1 Datatool System 3 later, a downgrade from Fully Comp to TPF&T, devaluing the bike from £7,500 to £6,500 and plenty of shouting and I have somehow managed to keep hold of it. But for £850 per year for insurance I've got some thinking to do. Really not impressed or happy. Oh and apparently a Z1000 is a superbike |
Don't mean to sound like a know it all but an insurance company cannot do that, if you have paid for a years insurance that means you have a contract with them for one year which they cannot break and by law they have to provide a years insurance, if they decide not to insure you afterwards then that is up to them! You should contact the insurance ombisman ( i doubt that is spelt correctly ) because they should be able to help if you have any questions _________________ sorry you can't park there! |

i'm sure in the small print of the policy it says the insurance company reserves the right to cancel the policy on certain circumstances, and in this case a refund was given. |

Well thats what i thought when a similar thing happened to me when i bought a cbr600, the insurance company decided that they were no longer going to be insuring people of my age group and so they were cancelling my policy but i checked if they could do that and i was told that they couldn't so one phone call and a fax later i was reinsured _________________ sorry you can't park there! |

slightly different circumstances, the company there had the ability to carry on providing the policy, they just decided they didn't want to.. in the other case the company went bankrupt and they couldn't have possibly afforded to payout what could have potentially been millions of pounds.. |

indeed, you should definately be entitled to something.. they never refund you the 'fair' amount.. i had a £200 policy for 1 month and they cancelled mine.. and refunded £105...?! so by that logic the first month costs £95 and each month after that is £9.45 money grabbers.. thats what they are..
so unless you got a full refund zedchick i think you should definately take the advice above and give them a ring, got nothing to lose! |

So whats made you smile today??
Removing my pillion pegs and fitting a Harris can hanger, and storing my passenger seat in a cupboard in favour of a seat cowl (I was putting the standard can back on and got carried away). An upside of my newly found singleness I guess |
