Bought the wrong bike then didn'tcha matey... Pan European & CB1300 both 8 hours plus in the saddle, no no real aches. Firestorm 2-3 hours then the aches begin.
Seriously though, I would perhaps suggest that if you are aching that much from 1.5 hours that there's another issue - perhaps you have the "death grip" where you hold on way too tightly? _________________

definitly got the deathgrip then, as that was my first time on a proper motorway/long distance ride. only use the ninja for commuting and run outs really,i don't intend to make those kind of trips very often but it was an educational ride never the less _________________ -------------------------------- |

Try and relax more on the bike - i.e. relax grip on everything (not saying let go, but don't grip so tight)
If you find it wrist heavy then a tank bag can help - that's what I do on the Firestorm if I need to cover any distance - like last year Godstone - York via M25/M11/A14/A1(M) (yawn) 240 odd miles, with the occassional roundabout just as you're about to nod off... _________________

Must say I was surprised at the firestorm. I did Banbury to Newtown then down to Cardiff and the M4 home with full luggage and had less aches than on the CB in France. |

Strange - I'm the same with the K1.
Much more comfortable over any sort of distance than the Pan.
I think it must be the less upright position, more like a better proportioned triangle of wrists, feet and posterior balancing the weight better. |

insurance companies
after them asuring me it will go down as a rear ender... they forgot to tell me they havnt actualy agreed this with the third party and aparantly they are disputing it after telling me that everything is moving along theyve only just got the engineers report yesterday its been going on for so long with no reason at all theyre coming to the limit of what their contract with the hire company will allow so theyre going to take the hire bike back within a couple of weeks if they dont get it sorted soon the third party insurance are just gonna laugh in their face because its taken so long and theyve racked up so many charges by pissing around, as long as its down on record that my insurance havnt recovered the costs i wont be able to afford to insure another bike...
pay a fortune to insure a bike only to be f*cked around by a bunch of idiots hell bent on making sure i cant ever ride a bike again |

Grrr....
Now is the time to perhaps follow up Tandridge council get some money out of them for dodgy surface incident...
I assume that you have legal cover with eBike ?? if so make contact directly with the Solicitor handling it - they work for you and not the insurance company. _________________

You will find that Helphire (loan bike) and the Parent Company Angel Assistance will want to pursue the other driver to get their money back...
I can't see them wanting to pursue ebike as that would be shooting themselves in the foot.......
Have they sent you the detailed accident questionnaire yet _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

This morning was the first time I've had to kick a car door to stop some dappy old cnut from knocking me off while trying to overtake someone on a roundabout. Silly old twat didn't even look, I was right next to his window ffs. Hit the horn multiple times and he still didn't notice me.
Think he saw my leg kick out in the mirror more than felt/heard me kick the car.
Last night I found out that the DVLA fails people for doing over the shoulder checks in their driving test. Is it any wonder we have so many SMIDSY's? _________________ You start the game of life with a full pot o' luck and an empty pot o' experience.
