Please forward - there are plenty of other coffee shops out there with nicer coffee too!
Guess I won't be drinking Starbucks anymore!! !
Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they send some of it to the troops there. Starbucks replied, telling the Marines thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops their brand of coffee.
So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by buying any of their products! I feel we should get this out in the open. I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting street-to-street and house-to-house.
If you feel the same as I do then pass this along, or you can discard it and no one will never know.
Thanks very much for your support. I know you'll all be there again when I deploy once more.
Semper Fidelis.

Starbucks doesn't taste nearly as good as Costa - actually, Starbucks just doesn't taste good at all. |

I decided to just get back in and call the Rozzers. Gave them the details and then had to go to Twickenham Station to do it all over again.
Going through insurance, so I'm waiting for him to admit liabilty. |

Nope. Not a thing. Tried to call the Traffic Unit last night but got no answer.
If he does not admit liability, I have his paint on my car to prove it. Hopefully that will be enough. |

Went to the car this morning and found a female tabby kitten underneath it. It looks like she has been hit by a car, very frightened and in pain but alive. The only obvious injury was to her face, a broken jaw. Took her to the vets, no microchip so they can't trace the owners. Might adopt her if the owners can't be found and she survives. |

Good on you Flipper. A lot of people would have done FA.
We've just got two rescue cats from Hounslow (Haws), they are struggling to find people who will adopt. |

On Wednesday rather than today..
Finding out that the police officers who do the bike safe in Norfolk have to do it on their rest days, otherwise their bosses wouldn't allow the scheme to continue. |

Good news on the cat. She had a broken jaw but has come through the operation and is eating!! Looks like she is going to be ok. Luckily we know the vet and she agreed to treat her there as we had offered to pay towards its treatment rather than it going to the RSPCA as we would have offered her a home if the owner couldn't be found.
More good news, when I got home tonight I saw a neighbour trying to coax a cat from a garden, thinking it was her daughter's kitten, that had gone missing on Tuesday night. Half an hour and 3 tins of cat food later we manage to see the "lost" kitten, it wasn't hers
I hadn't mentioned the cat I'd found to that point because there was an 11yr old insisting that she had seen her missing kitten go under an eight foot fence.
I've given them the vets number and hopefully they can if it's "Mizzy" tomorrow. Hers a pic of the "missing" Mizzy
