Dear Mr Elias,

Further to Roxy's email to you, I have been looking into this issue for you.

The renewal premium of your policy was £133.35 which is what was stated in the email sent to you. The reason that the paper invite was a higher premium was due to the fact that you paid for your policy by direct debit last year. The system automatically assumes you will pay this way again, so the admin. fee of £25 is included in the premium. Should you go ahead with the renewal and pay in full, then the correct and original premium of £133.35 would have been available.

Unfortunately I am unable to locate anywhere to suggest that the premium was £165.70 so I cannot comment on this.

I hope this has answered your query.

Kind Regards

Dear Mr Mellor,

Thank you for your reply but alas it has not answered anything except e-bikes ability to keep track of their correspondence to the customer and I am unfortunately at this time unable to scan the document sent by post stating the £167.70 premium but assure you I am not in the habit of falsifying information.
If as stated previously it is made clear the costs involved in renewing ones policy either in full or by direct debit then I would complain it is not clear enough I attach the premium for renewal online as a pdf file you will note that nowhere in the e-mail does it mention any added costs for admin, increase in claims loss ratios or monetary markets…….if I am not mistaken the initial e-mail is the preverbial carrot and added costs are not made apparent until the customer has followed numerous links on the internet.
I shall continue my policy for the present but assure you upon notification of renewal I shall be seeking my cover elsewhere even if it should increase my premium.

Regards

Mr P Elias

not when you don't like the cheeses on offer , and my work station is not only begining to stink of several varieties of cheese, but at the moment i'm digging cracker, cheese and marshmellows out of the keyboard, mouse, scanner and my bike leathers.

WTF!!!!!

FFS what's wrong with insurance companies??

Am I right in thinking that the driver has been nicked for "Without due care and attention"??? If so they haven't got a leg to stand on. Insurance is based on "Balance of probability" and law is "beyond all reasonable doubt" therefore if the driver was found guilty of with care and attention then that makes your case very strong.

Subject: Re: RE: eBike Policy Renewal Reminder

Dear Mr Elias

Thank you for your email.

We are unable to investigate this any further without the document that states the renewal was offered at £165.70. Please forward this onto us and we will take a look into this for you as previously advised we are unable to locate a document which states this lower amount.

We apologise for any inconvenience or ill feeling caused by this matter.

Kind Regards,

Dear Charlotte,

This is going to sound very sarcastic……have you read the history of this ……the figure of £165.70 is the highest renewal of the three I was offered in which case strengthening my views that e-bike have little or no idea of correspondence records and are merely denying the fact they messed up.

Regards
