My nuts have arrived Shocked Shocked & means that the zorst can go back on the CB1300, although I've not got any coolant and I'm loath to try it out with water with the temperature as it is Confused Snowman

All being well it may be ship shape again for Sunday Cool although the tyres are rock hard and probably rather lacking in the grip department (unless a gentle scrub will remove the outer crust... Pray )

Back off topic...

I'm honestly appalled at the behaviour I've seen here. Childishness, bullying and a general lack of respect has been displayed by a multitude of people and it truly saddens me to see people on this forum behaving in such a way.

Both sides have said things that are out of line, none of it being an excuse, reason or just cause for the other parties comments. The whole stooping to anothers level and all. Is it really the person you want to be?

The defining line between "bullying" & "banter" is very subjective indeed. I am of the opinion that comments made and intended as "light hearted banter" on previous pages and in no way did they warrant the ensueing wishes of injury or pm's suggesting people "go f**k themselves".

We can't all agree all of the time, that would be boring, and that difference of opinion is what encourages debate & discussion. Sometimes we have to step down and admit we are wrong either in full or in part, or simply accept that someone has a different opinion to that of our own.

Some people do come across as agressive & threatening when they are behind a keyboard; I for one only say on here what I would say to someones face, not everyone has that restraint.... Similarly, some people read replies as a personal slight/insult/whatver against them even when that is not the intention of the poster!

I must admit I found a lot of the comments made toward Biker-Spawn, Boudicas etc as victimisation.

I found the one about the Bergman funny and didn't warrant the reply to WD that it got. However, in light of all the other comments in different threads, I can understand where it came from.

I put a post in the Girlies Forum asking if it was just me who felt that there seemed to be a lot of bullying by some of the long-term members of the forum. It wasn't. A few have said they rarely post now because of it. Sad Crying or Very sad

Yeah, normally ignore it. Just felt it had got out of hand recently and find it disappointing.

Still, onwards and upwards as they say. Laughing

Suzibabe, although I understand your comments I'm not sure they are applicable in this case, I don't think i have seen anything out of order toward Biker-spawn just the usual banter comments made by people who biker spawn knows and should also know to take it with a pinch of salt, as for the other 'person' You have met me a few times and should have gathered a fair opinion of my character, I like a laugh and a banter and I'm personally loud like a beer but in general very light hearted, what will wind me up and twist me into being someone not very likeable is very personal attacks on people whom I consider to be if not friends then my boxhill collegues and I will defend them all regardless...(even if your name was Incy Wink ) this is not a case of bullying or victimisation to my knowledge that has never even happend on this forum.. there are many people I don't think would stand for that behavour

In response to thoughts of bullying of BooDickArse, why should I tolerate strangers? Family, work colleagues and friends, yes. Fools, no.

Complete strangers telling me / us what to do re training or being unable to be civil in a responce to what was meant as a helpful post or failing to laugh at a joke re a material object. No. I have no time for them, why should I (rhetorical)

I do not care about their background, class, race or gender. People are people. I will, however, chose who to like and get on with and who not. Their problem not mine. They also have the choice not to like me and sometime I may encourage that.

I also agree with Loco, friends are people to be supported, no matter who is right.

The happy harmonious world that is BHF. A place where like minded people meet and natter about all things motorcycles while the sun shines and the birds flit from branch to branch while twittering their happy song......
