met up with an old m8 last night and went for a hoon along the Newtownards to Portaferry Road. 12 miles of the twists and bends on a par with the Camber Road. ( http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=A20%2FPortaferry+Rd&daddr=54.454073,-5.52887&geocode=FbTaQAMd1GSp_w%3B&hl=en&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=11&sll=54.511914,-5.611954&sspn=0.206883,0.617294&ie=UTF8&z=11 )

At the half way mark he tinkered with my suspension and off we went again - Whoa what a difference. Fastest I've ridden a twisty by far and the bike stuck to the road like glue Smile

Then on to a pub, then another, then another followed by.... Another

20 minutes till the end of my day then off for the rest of the week.

Tomorrow is my Ron haslam race day so I need the sun gods to shine on me PLEASE!!! while thats going on, I don't care if it rains for the rest of my break cause I can just sit in a pub, just not tomorrow afternoon.

Then Thunder on their farewell tour tomorrow night at Nottigham Rock City with lots of beer to calm me down after the race school.

So I'm not going to be on here for a few days so if you all wanna start a bring back PJ thread and change your avatars It'll be appreciated Wink

Ride safe out their Wink

Great news Lisette. Very Happy

I would not normally post my non-biking life but checking the diary for the next few weeks made me smile.

Box at the Royal Opera House on Monday night
Cadogan Hall concert on Thursday night
Lords for the Ashes on Friday
Photography course all the following week (awaiting confirmation)
Off to the cottage the following week for a yet to be determined period
Plus two track days and various lunches and runs in between.

This forced retirement lark is quite fun I have discovered. Laughing
