But still smiling as I had more fun riding through the downpour than all the cars drivers who were stuck waiting for the car in front to move...
Akito really are the cheapest quality...

Try spraying them with Fabsil.

Thanks Tinks - methinks I will invest in some of that and sparay 'em with it once they've dried _________________ Seguy il tuo corso el lashi di lagente

Spending the whole day so far without actually speaking to a single person. That may sound odd, but it is strangely depressing if one likes talking to people, like I do.
Plus getting stuck in two traffic jams on the way to and fro Silverstone due to idiot drivers going into the back of people. The level of motorway driving in this country is an effing joke. If you leave a safety gap some tosser will always think "oh look a space".
Alternatively they will pull out in front of you so you have to brake hard rather than them braking because they are coming up to car in front of them in the lane to the left of you. |

Someone letting me down... making me loose out on £150. £150 that i really need. I literally have a few pounds to my name at the moment, cant even afford to put petrol iin the bike right now, so the £150 would really have been helpful right about now.. |

Sadly no joy, there was one on there but it wasnt really worth it. On the plus side though there's a trader on ebay going by the name 'round and black' thats selling my conti road attack rear tyre for nearly £50 less than the dealers near me so i think i'll have to go that route and take it easy til i get it fitted thanks for the pointer tinks! _________________ "It's not the years in your life but the life in your years..."

had a similar experience on the pirbright bends, i was heading back from mytchett and came round a right hand bend to find a car coming towards me taking up at least half of my lane as he was overtaking a cyclist!

What pissed me off? Seeing the aftermath of what was fairly obviously a fatal collision on the Aberystwth road last night and looking at the circumstances was clearly wholly unnecessary. unknown rider. The cruel irony of my tug from the police was officer Jones saying take care as we scrape at least one of you a week off this road and 15 mins later they are doing just that. Focuses the attention somewhat.. Perhaps if I'd not been tugged then I may well have been wrong place wrong time and met the ill fated blade head on _________________

nope. Finger wag and wrist slap. Could've been worse passed him at about 90 in an NSL, as i did so he blipped the siren, so I remained at 59.999mph and he followed for a mile or 3 and then he pulled me at first layby. He was very reasonably and said that although speeding I'd not ridden in a dangerous or inconsiderate manner and he would have done the same on his bike, given the circumstances. Result. _________________
