Quite possibly there was....but speaking from my own experience the shite at the end of the relationship counteracts all of that!

And look at what a lovely lady has taken her place - well done on the divorce thing, Biggus, if you hadn't we'd never have had the chance to meet the lovely Melz.

LB, know what you mean about the crap at the end cancelling out anything good at the start.

Got a call out of the blue from a Canadian friend/former boss whom I haven't seen in 8+ years. She & her husband are in London tonight on a whistle-stop tour of the UK/France and on a whim decided to see if the phone number they had for me was still valid!

Meeting them for after-show drinks tonight before they fly home tomorrow. How kewl is that!

3 Hours sobering up at a great greasy spoon cafe in Sevenoaks.

It's next to The Castle pub (on the left just down the A225 going south from the A25), I highly reccomend it! The owner and his son both ride and are trying to turn it into more of a biker caf, though he's only just taken over the place. It used to be sargeants cafe, not sure what it was like with the previous owner...but I thought the fried breakfast was pretty damn good, so if your passing through that area it's probably a better stop than rykas.

Yesterday - 136 nice solo miles around some good roads after dropping in on Tusky for a cup of coffee and a chin wag.

my question to you david is this.....if you felt the need to stop and sober up WTF WHERE YOU THINKING GETTING ON A BIKE IN THE FIRST PLACE
trust me this is a subject i have plenty of past experience in which i am not proud of and feel that maybe a little education would not go amiss before you either end up an A&E statistic or have a nice policeman remove your riding privaledges.

Congratulations, Jay! I'm delighted to know you the speech went well and that your day was everything you'd hoped it would be. Sounds like you and your wife will have beautiful memories to last a lifetime - and you haven't even left for your honeymoon yet! Smile

Post some pics when you get a chance - and have a cracking time in Kenya!

Brought home a new guy last night - couldn't resist his charms! Embarrassed

He's awfully young and very sweet, but don't know how long the relationship's gonna last, as he's also a bit of a mama's boy and very high-maintenance...sigh.

Left the rideout early as we have plans for a quiet evening in together, cuddling on the sofa...
