Great riding day Sunday - left home (new tyres to be scrubbed in) at 8:00 am and pretty much did not stop riding till 14:30 - went down to Box from Bromley met Marc and some more Boxhillers about to set off for Bletchingly (ready for their quickest starburst on record ) cup of coffee at Box then I rode down to Bury Hill - sausage sandwich and rode back to Boxhill - met up with everyone from earlier again - Andi organising faster group rideout to Goodwood so joined them (thanks Andi enjoyed the Pirbright Esses sorry I had to go but had a prior Family Dinner arranged) peeled off at Basingstoke and then quick dash back to Bromley 212miles in all - tyres scrubbed in - what a bonus to be able to do that in late October.
First 20miles @ 8:00 am was a little scary - greasy roads - leaves - new tyres - ZZR
I was knackered by the time I got home. _________________ "Those who understand compound interest are destined to collect it.

Just looked at my Mortgage statements online, I knew that the drop in interest rates meant I was paying much less interest, so when they were slashed I upped my over payments to take advantage of this since money was not going to earn much interest if invested.
A year ago I was paying over £600 per month interest - it's now under £130 a month... bonkers. Bet it'll change out of my favour soon enough though!!!
Mortgage free by 40.... that's my plan, won't happen though _________________

Just got back from a 5 mile jaunt. On my BICYCLE!
Not a great distance but the first time on the bike since April. Damned good it felt too. Some more work before the 15th though methinks. |
