Slappy...... take this as a warning that there may be a big tree in the road at Ide Hill on your way to our place in the morning Wink

Shocked just remembered that Justine went that way home..... I guess they had diversions up?

Hope you logged a complaint about that with the station...a sense of urgency should be default. Confused

But I'm sure that supervising the shopping at Tesco so it didn't get stolen is also very important. Wink Laughing

Appoleggy's..after further thought I probably reacted rather than responded. The reaction being, "Directing traffic for a whole hour after the call had been made?"

Though, I think if thought through...well, the police force would have been run ragged th previous night and that morning. Not just with the usual run of the mill, but also with all the shite from rooves being ripped off, chimneys collapsing and other damage from the storm. For all I know it was a quick 2 minute stop to grab a sarny "to go" after missing breakfast.

I'll bother wtf has it got to do with the police, if you want some electrics fixed in your home then you don't call a plumber.

If you want a fallen tree removed from the road get a person from the council with the appropraite equipment and you (meaning the public) whinge about traffic law being enforced ffs get a life you whingers.

You have the police service you deserve!

Glad I do not have to commute on a bike - last week the wet road were lethal - so so slippery - soon as you put power down in the car the traction control things was flashing away on the dashboard.

Charlie Boy. Dog
Had to go to see bank manager.OK no problems.
Open the front door to be greeted by Charlie Boy.
Didn't greet me only Athos,Tail wagging, jumping up and down like a Yo Yo.
Athos saying "oh my god" pushing me out the door again. Shocked Yes it was Charlie Boy. He had opened a new packet of Shreddies that I had left on the side.
These Shreddies were not just on the floor, on the chairs, table behind the sofa on the computer table, keyboard. A trail of cereal leading to the back garden. Now one devil child up for sale. (With a month supply of food, O'h and his toys) Has taken we a good hour to clear them up. He will not come near me because he knows I am after him. Athos you are so wicked it not funny Twisted Evil
