Snow is seriously coming down now here in Walton-on-Thames & we don't usually get much; bet it's really snowing heavily where you are! _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |

Yep, covering up all my hard work earlier, been coming down steadily all morning.
Guess I'll be out with the snow pusher again later _________________ It's not the speed of life that bothers me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Snowing here but it is melting quicker than it is falling
I would be happy with 3 inches, never mind 6 or more

I took this pic through the window of my cosy living room this morning:
And snapped this one of my nephew on Sunday! :
Quite the juxtaposition! _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |

Was a couple days ago this made me smile, but thought about it again today. Something really simple and basic, but which I found quite encouraging...
I was riding home from work monday evening, roads nice and icy, just how we like em. Passed a bike on the M4, gave a wave as I went past. I came off at next junction, bike passed and gave the same wave. Not 100% sure why it touched me, probably something to do with gesture of support, solidarity, blah blah blah.
I'll shut the fk up now. _________________ You start the game of life with a full pot o' luck and an empty pot o' experience. The objective is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck.

oi, I resemble that remark |
So it was you parked in a hedge on Coopers Hill Lane then?! was just funny because the only clear bit of rear Windscreen was the window sticker proudly displaying the ultimate driving machine strap line _________________

Nope, paperwork and other stuff at home for me today. It's not as if anyone was going to ride to me for work to be done!
Actually the BM's pretty good in the snow/ice if you drive it properly. _________________ It's not the speed of life that bothers me, it's the sudden stop at the end!
