Just got home from my kids 'thank you' assembly at the infant school, all the kids at the front singing and taking turns reading bits out. So proud of my boys

Getting out on the pushbike for 30 mins or so this morning, followed by a great lunch with a couple of (non Box) chums whilst watching both Wales / Ireland and Chelsea / Westham in a Fulham wine bar. Just like the old days. Very Happy

No problem, glad to help. Those bloody coil caps (not a contraceptive Rubber up! ) were in solid, they are such a poxy idea, Ok, I'm sure there are benefits but they are so susceptable to corrosion causing them to expand and get stuck fast £100+vat each for new ones if they get broken removing them with a little percussive maintainence Shocked . Bet they were invented by Renault Laughing

some over exuberant throttle action to save rubber on my front tyre caught the eye of the nice policeman in the unmarked focus ST as i passed him in a line of traffic ....nothing too skyward but airborne all the same ....he therefore showed me how pretty his car lights up with flashing blue lights stuffed in every orrafice .....needless to say i signalled to say i was going to pull over to admire them in a turning a little further along the road thus creating less of an obstruction .....he was so impressed at my rubber saving technique he made sure i was adequatly insured in case of someone else knocking me off my one wheel ....how nice of him ...
he was actually a very nice bloke and kinda understood that after the recent shite weather getting out on the bike on dry roads in sunshine for the 1st time in what seemed like ages was just too much and the little blast about 1/2 mile from home wasnt really too bad and i got away with being told what he COULD HAVE stuck me on for....to continue on my way and take it a little easier.
