Being told it'll take Avon tyres 4-6 weeks to decide if they'll replace the punctured tyre under their damage replacement warranty thing as it's used less than 1mm of tread from new.
Going through tyres like nothing else at the mo, last set fitted 5 weeks ago, need another pair in the morning _________________ Thinking about it, i may be some time |

All afternoon and most of this evening trying to fix my indicator glitch . All works OK now unless you turn the headlight off . Flashes normally until you blip the throttle then the indicators stop until the revs fall back to tickover then they come back on Anyone got any ideas? _________________

weekend cycling trip cancelled coz of the weather; and downgraded to a single 35-mile day on Monday (off road Waki, do you want to join us?) but so late in the day I couldn't go out with the hens... and the weather's too shit for biking too... _________________ An open mouth is a straight line to the mind.

I bet like me you would have been happy with a broken kettle rather than miss the Moto GP , can always boil water on the gas hob. _________________ Comfortably Numb

Nope. I did have mini's but tried with a full set of standard original units. Currently suspecting a bad earth . Have remade the point near the rec/reg, new flasher relay, cleaned the switch, remade/WD40 on all terminal blocks and retighned the battery all to no avail . The wiring diagram shows other earthing points but I cannot actually see or find these . The bike may have to go _________________

WPMOT... the phone call I just had to say one of my longest mates has just at the age of 35 had some sort of stroke last night and today has been declared brain dead and awaiting the decision of his wife to turn the machine off Andy when you finally go. Save me a cold stella for when I see you on the flip side. Carmel, be strong, my thoughts are with you xxx _________________

It puts my soggy knickers after riding into perpective as something that pissed me off today
Woke up at 4.30 - at box by 8.30 and no one to play with although 5 harley riders took pity on meand kept me company
(and yes the soggy knickers was due to rain and not because I HAVE A NEW BIKE )
