Have to go to a customer's site tomorrow in Southampton... Bike is sorely tempting. Some early morning A272 could well be in order to avoid the monotony of the M25/A3 _________________

98% of all Harleys ever sold are still on the road. The other 2% made it home |

The CB500...
Before and after on the forks:
Forks refitted, & front wheel cleaned:
Still to do - flush cooling system, replace ageing hose clips, fix fuel tap, refit tank, clean up rear wheel and swingarm, check rear wheel bearings & swing arm bearings, fit new battery & MoT.. and _________________

A great, albeit short, bike ride with Cpt. Slow this morning.
Lunch with Slow, Spit and Firecracker, followed by a great afternoon of chilled chat with FC 'till about 17.30.
I meant a great day with people who know how they are. |

An unexpected afternoon off, an impromptu ride in the sunshine with an old school mate, a milkshake and a natter with the Wednesday Wastrels at Box, and some fantastic people who made me very ashamed and helped me fix my lack of maintenance....
Thanks Scatty (and the random plumber with the cable ties!), hope you managed to get through the traffic going home (and sorry about Paul's noise!!!) _________________ An open mouth is a straight line to the mind.

And how right you were about the weekday myopic MILF's on the 272!! Still didn't get in the way of an otherwise stonking ride. Early morning is definitely the way forward and good effort to the rizla gixxer pilot this morning knee down and sparky sliders just outside wisborough green _________________

The excitement of those going to Scotland.
Can't wait for the first messages of gloom as they discover that no amount of midge repellent keeps the little buggers away! _________________ It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes. - Douglas Adams.

WMMST: I've fallen in love!!!
...with my mate's '99 R1 Can't wipe the smile off my face!
He insisted I have a go, despite my protestations that I don't need a litre bike - and he very nearly didn't get it back! Two words to describe it: Driving Ban
All I can think about now is how I'm gonna raise the cash for a red & white R1 of my own...
