Seriously.... how did that happen Duncan?
Big pothole and low tyre pressure or just really unlucky |
Pressure was spot on and it was a very big pothole. New wheel is £750 odd quid ffs... council say that I have to provide an invoice.... ffs...and they might not pay out.
Sorry this is just c*ntish. My car is fucked thanks to some wanker pulling out on me & me only having TPF&T cover, my bike is fucked due to the state of the roads. Want to sell my pan but need to fix the crack in the engine block or i'll get 10p for it, plus I'm skint.
I will get onto my insurance company and get the legal expenses lot to chase the council for commitment to liabilty and payment _________________

Yeah, just fed up with being fucked over. Thought this was supposed to be an awesome year, after a good start it's rapidly becoming a fail like 2010 _________________

This was my argument the other day about being able to send a team of blokes out to fit forty road humps down main road in Streatham (a so called traffic calming measure) when their priority ought to be fixing extremely dangerous potholes that have appeared since the bad weather. Now you can argue that the workers who install the humps are from a different department of Government but it does not make it any less stupid. _________________ "Those who understand compound interest are destined to collect it.

Good luck with your insurers, they will probably point you in the direction of the local council. It's standard practice for them to ask for a receipt up front to ward off the chancers. However if you present them with a receipt along with a picture of the pot hole they will pay up. You must know of someone with a receipt book _________________ If you judge people, you have no time to love them. |

Spiders.... or more specifically the fact they set off the alarms at my place of work, now the (understandably) have taken off automatically attending due to the number of false alarms caused by spiders in front of sensors... now means a nice shiny new alarm system that won't call the rozzers unless there are two sensor activations.
Surely it'd be cheaper if our cleaner just did the job properley _________________

Slipping over this morning on the icy path whilst trying to put my bike in the back of the car to do a club ride.
Not only have I missed the ride, but have damaged my shoulder and left wrist. |
