Actually yes but they are typically in housing developments and not on main roads... but by contrast NJ has what is called "Jug Handles" for you to make a left turn... think about it and you will see it... drive to the right to make a left |

Just installed a new kitchen (4 days ago) - countertops fitted perfectly on all joints.
500watt builders spot light blows showering hot filament onto the top and burnt a 1 inch line in the middle...
Had to rip off the tops today - replace 1 tomorrow. Expensive and so f*cking annoying. |

Effin weather. I set off at just before 8am, blue sky, nice and bright; through the Dartford Tunnel and Oh My Goodness a huge black cloud. About a mile into the A13 the heavens opened and I got drenched, fortunately goretex kit did the job and kept me dry but got to admit, I was a tad nervous riding in such rain, lots of surface water too. Not nice. _________________ Mini Cooper S |

The Blandit's rear tyre tread is getting a bit low, so I double checked make, model & size. Then I looked at the front, wrong profile fitted ( 60% instead of 70%). Thought it tipped into corners funny. Gonna have to buy a pair now ! _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |

...then.....
...go out and catch birds/mice for yourself...
...take required weight of bird/mouse home and 'amuse' for a 2 minutes...
...turn liquidiser to lowest setting...
...Slowly, drop bird/mouse into liquidiser
...add two cups milk and purify until smooth(ish)...
..serve with a sprig of catnip... |

My birthday didn't end all that well. When we got home from a nice meal I discovered a leak through the kitchen ceiling so we spent the rest of the evening moving furniture, taking up carpet and floorboards and trying to work out what was leaking |

We think, in the absense of any pipes in that area or anything else that it could be, that it must be where there is a small split in the silicon sealant round the bath. It appears that it must have been a very small amount of water going that way for a very long time and it has finally found its way through a hairline crack in the kitchen ceiling. |

Having a new boss foisted upon us, despite the fact that our current boss is doing a fab job.
This will be my 3rd manager in 17 months... Time to start returning those calls from headhunters, methinks! _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |
