Brought a new fence panel today to replace a broken one. It's only a little 3ft one, I was expecting about a tenner. Went to the fence place, cost of a small 3ft panel £14.50. Shocked

While I was in the office I looked at the price list and saw that a 6ft one is £17.50. For twice the size.

How the fcuk does that work then Confused Evil or Very Mad

Although the panel is shorter, it still takes as much putting together.
So the biggest part of the cost is labour for construction.

surely 10 slats takes half the time to nail together as 20 slats of wood

( thats Slats not sluts .....they only take nailing one at a time )
