Please would you be kind enough to remove my email address from your database, I have no idea how it ever got on there in the first place.
In answer to the subject line of your email, the discussion around my "holiday table" on the subject of Palestine & Israel will be along the lines of ...
"Until Muslims & Jews start eating bacon there is no hope for peace in the middle east. Perhaps if they all sat round a table at a café together with a cup of tea, and a full egg, sausage and bacon & blackpudding fry up then the world would be a more peaceful place."
I trust that you will give my thoughts on the matter consideration.
Eating pork is the way forward for world peace.
Thanks

Duncan-
We've been overwhelmed by the magnitude and warmth of your responses to last week's survey. See just a few thoughts that supporters shared, below:
"To be silent is to agree with what is being said. We can be silent no longer."
"I respect your clear headedness in this painful debate. My problem is local. To express my views I must prepare to lose business and to be shunned as a 'radical'."
"Your letters, frequently frustrated, are eloquent and articulate cries for justice at a time when justice seems scarce. I applaud your courage and conviction. Your advocacy has changed (and will continue to change) people's perception of events. And like you I believe that the Jewish people have a historic commitment to justice.."
"I wish I could find a synagogue that shared my values."
If you haven't already responded, it's not too late-please, take a few minutes to tell us what you think.

Posted my passport back to the Home Office tonight via Special Delivery, as they are now ready to decide my Permanent Residence application - 11 months after I originally submitted it!
I'm optimistic that my app will be successful and that the Home Office will process it quickly so I can still fly back to CA on the 28th to see my Dad for Xmas/New Year (haven't seen him in over a year now.)
That will be the bestest Xmas gift anyone could give me! _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |

Ta, Jimbo.
The good news is, my work can't send me off on business trips until I get my passport back, so I intend to enjoy this process, whatever the outcome. Hopefully that means I'll get a bit of time at home over the next couple weeks, instead of doing stupid stuff like getting up at 4AM this morning to do a day trip in Dublin! It's not even 7PM and I'm totally cream crackered! (cue all the old age jokes...) _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |

FB and status updates have made me smile today too, a good friend who is an engineer in the merchant navy posted the following:
*The heavy end always goes up(ish) **Watch out for fault positives ie the ceiling and rebound ***People can throw it back best hide the wooden bit up your jumper and look innocent
Followed by:
Its funny how quick your mind can work. I'm talking of course of that moment when the end of the hammer comes off. For a moment you just think its gone nice and light. Immediately followed by the readiness of impending doom and searing pain. Broken only by searing pain, a clang or the noise of searing pain from some...one else. This always seems to take about half an hour or realistically two or three seconds.

After two weeks of stress, thinking I had lost 100gb of company and personal data on a crashed hard-drive and broken 8 month old back-up drive....
Then getting the computer back on Wednesday with the data showing but unreadable
I got it back again today with the data, files and Jpegs all working at no extra charge _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

3 things:
1. My fantastic bandit, having sat outside untouched and unridden for the last 3 weeks with the immobiliser on, started on the button, first time.
2. An hour's ride on dry(ish) and not too slippery roads in the sunshine
3. Heated grips
