Our evening was more like the good ol' days of WW2 than Iraq, where Brits & Americans ganged up together to take on a town... heh heh heh _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |

As for what made me smile today, I spied with my little eye a luuuurrvly MV Augusta on the M25 - yummy!
I'm gonna ask Santa for one! (The MV, not the guy riding it. Then again...) _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |

Whilst I normally like to be polite in business, I did rather enjoy sending this email to an up-market magazine on receiving the copy proof for an advert ..........
Hi Vijay
I am sorry but that is truly dreadful.
I know it is late in the day but I see no redeeming features in that layout at all.
The top picture is one our very worst and I would never have emailed that through. It is merely in our gallery as it was part of a large healthcare garden. Perhaps a London Golf Club Lake would have been relevant.
It has no corporate feel to it... in terms of colour or layout.
Sorry this is a bit blunt but I could never let that go to press!!! _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

A text exchange:
"my brothers dog has just pissed on the hall carpet and I'm being blamed for it"
"Do you often piss on the hall carpet then?"
No response yet... funnily enough _________________

Last night getting a big slide on the Triumph, dropping it so far it scraped the exhaust where it's never hit before but keeping it up and grinning from the adrenaline. And today a good run out to Reading by car, bit of a lairy drive back then lunch with a friend. A few beers up the village tonight will start the weekend off just nice _________________ It's not the speed of life that bothers me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Also, passing my practical assessment for the C&G 2391
