Very True Biggus. I only want it back so i can sell it. In hindsight i shouldnt have posted its been side ways down the road. But Carole Slash reckon it looks like new. I might wait until the Spring and see what a dealer will part ex it for a Pan. _________________ Gods Not Talking To Me..!! Ive Been Bad.!! |

Yup.... getting very pissed off, was hoping to go out this evening but have cleared the drive three times and when I finish it looks the same as when I started...... |
Fighting a losing battle, leave it alone dude....go back inside and make some mince pies. |
Funny you should say that.... I've been baking in between sweepings and shovelings....... and I may have had one or two _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

Since I met a copper who gave his back after a year of ownership and it was full of rust I concur _________________ "Deja Moo" the feeling you have heard this Bullshit before |

I have to say I always had problem with my Suzukis, alhough they were stored outside.
A couple of things I did which made a world of difference was to change all the lower down bolts (pinch bolts, caliper bolts, fairing etc) with stainless steel (Honda ones fitted the GSXRs and are cheapish) or even titanium (Pro-Bolt which are not cheap) as well as spray / paint any metal (not the discs ) liberally with ACF50. Praps worth giving that a go? |

Lighter and Petrol sounds an easier option out of ownership _________________ "Deja Moo" the feeling you have heard this Bullshit before |

My (now Kate's) Bandit has a few little spots on the frame and a furry bolt or two but for a 11 year old bike with 35k on the clock it still looks good... _________________ It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes. - Douglas Adams.

Will try ACF50... It's mostly annoying little things, footpegs, gear and brake levers, steering head nut, and more worrying are the fork legs which are developing little rust patches at the top...and don't start me on the brake discs, the things go bloody rusty after an hour!
After VFR ownership (yes, even the red POS) it's annoying to have to look out for rust all the time. |

It's nice and warm here too although I am wearing all of my clothes, several hats and pairs of gloves and some old man slippers borrowed from Barry H.
The Landlord has been in touch with the boiler dudes, I'm just waiting for a call from them. _________________ It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes. - Douglas Adams.
